The Bay Area, especially San Francisco, is one of the most highly traveled locations in the United States. Beautiful landscape, a cultural hub, music and food galore, it is truly paradise. Here are some fun ideas and popular spots in and around the city for those wanting to make a real vacation out of their trip.
It's baseball season! The The Giant's are looking good and even if you aren't a fan, the stadium is amazing and boasts excellents views wherever one is sitting, including the bleachers.
The SF MOMA is a wonderful musuem and even if there isn't a special exhibit, it's worth a trip
The SF Asian Art Museum is one of the largest musuems in the Western World devoted to Asian Art
Alcatraz Island is full of tourists but the prison and the view of the Golden Gate and the city are worth the effort
If giant redwoods are your thing, try your hardest to get to Muir Woods

No DUI's at our wedding....check out the shuttle schedule!
As much as Seth and I enjoy a good party, we also believe in being safe and responsible. To accommodate both these aspects we have arranged for a shuttle service to ferry you, our fun lovin' guests, to and from Cache Creek and Taber Ranch. While it is only a few miles in between the two locations that is all is can take for a mistake to happen. Our wedding is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm, with cocktails beginning at 4:45.
Okay, now pay attention, this is the REALLY IMPORTANT INFO:
The first shuttle will leave the casino at 4:30 and the VERY LAST SHUTTLE before the wedding will leave at 5:05.
One the return side:
One shuttle will arrive at 9:00pm and then from 10:15-11:15 the shuttles will keep coming until everyone has gotten home safely.
Please note, if you miss the shuttles it will be up to you to find a ride back to the casino. I do believe there are taxi's hovering but please remember that this is in the middle of the country, you really don't want to walk the 5 miles back to the hotel.

More Lodging Information:The Abbey House B&B
For anyone coming to the rehearsal dinner on Friday or anyone looking for an alternative location for lodging should check out The Abbey House Inn. Not only is it in my hometown but it happens to be directly across the street from my house....it's a REALLY small town, emphasis on small! There are 5 private rooms with either double or queen beds and one single bed in a loft. The most expensive room is $140.00, so it's more affordable than Cache Creek Casino. It is a 30 minute, easy drive to Taber Ranch from Winters. Just a heads up though, while all the rooms are available for both Friday and Saturday night at the current moment, it's first come, first serve. With a little place such as The Abbey House, I was unable to reserve or block any of the rooms. I'm excited for any/all of you to visit my wee bit of a hometown, it still strikes a chord after all these years of living in the Bay Area, home, after all, is where your heart is.

Invites Coming Soon
Today is April 19th....meaning there is only two months left before the wedding! Needless to say the little details are starting to pop up and add up, making us feel a little frantic. I have the utmost confidence, though, that everything will go smoothly and equal a terrific day. The invitations, one of a kind, are almost ready to be sent out and we are looking forward to forming the vision of who will be able to join us on our wedding day. See you in two short months!
love,
Seth, Gabby and Mozelle
